CWT Asset Management Company Ltd. (CWTAMC) was founded on November 27, 2018, and the Company received the license to function as an Asset Management Company by the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) on February 2, 2019.

The company is founded by a team of highly qualified and experienced investment management professionals with proven performance. Ms. Moniza Choudhury has an outstanding track record as a versatile professional in leadership positions—in both national and international arenas. She was a Vice President of Brummer & Partners for several years, one of the leading European Hedge Funds. Ms. Choudhury started her career as a Project Lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, a leading management and technology consulting company for United States Department of Defense and private sector. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Counter-terrorism, both from George Mason University, USA.

Mr. Md. Tareq Ibrahim is an accomplished professional in Bangladesh capital market, with vast experience in overseeing the establishment of fund structures—both closed and open-ended—with varied styles and strategies. He heads the equity research and advisory team of CWT AMC. Before joining to CWT AMC, Mr. Ibrahim served as the Vice President and Chief Investment Strategist at UCB Capital Management Ltd. He started his career in 2010 with LankaBangla Securities Ltd as a Research Analyst. During his tenure in LankaBangla, he managed the portfolio of client equity (especially negative equity), which was worth BDT 2.5 billion. Mr. Ibrahim served as the Senior Assistant Vice President and Head of Research and Investment at City Brokerage Ltd. Mr. Ibrahim completed his BBA & MBA from University of Dhaka, majoring in Finance. He participated in numerous training sessions related to technical analysis, merger and acquisition, and fundamental analysis. He also passed CFA Level II.

Muhammad Harunur Rashid has joined CWT Asset Management Company (CWTAMC) as the Head of Accounts. Prior to working in CWTAMC, he served as the Senior Executive (Finance & Accounts Department) at Lanka Bangla Asset Management Company Limited (LBAMCL).

Mr. Rashid has completed his CA-CC from K. M. Hasan & Co., Chartered Accountants, under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He also worked as an audit supervisor for K. M. Hasan & Co. He has expertise in both public & private sector with diverse skills, proven business sense and technical expertise in budgetary process and control, efficiency enhancement, governance, internal Control, risk and assurance management, control system design and value creation.

Ms. Tasnim Tabassum Tore currently works as an Investment Analyst at CWTAMC. She started her career as an intern for Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) in 2019, after that she joined at Data Resource Bangladesh (DRB) as a Research Analyst in 2020. Later in 2020, she joined as a consultant at CWTAMC before being promoted to a full-time employee as an Investment Analyst. She has worked in various companies and had an excellent performance in every organization she worked for. She has completed Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from University of Dhaka in 2019. She is very foresighted and her commitment to work is extraordinary.

Mr. Shadab Shahriar Bhuiyan

Mr. Shadab Shahriar Bhuiyan Investment Analyst Mr. Shadab Shahriar Bhuiyan currently works as an Investment Analyst at CWTAMC. While pursuing his bachelor’s degree from Independent University, Bangladesh he joined Data Resource Bangladesh (DRB) as an intern in 2020. Later in 2021, he joined as a consultant at CWTAMC before being promoted to a full-time employee as an Investment Analyst. He has completed his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Independent University, Bangladesh in 2021. His dedication and commitment towards his work is remarkable.
